Library
Ascension students in grades Kdg.-6 visit the library once a week. They learn library skills, study authors, write, and do fun reading-related projects. Students may check out books every week.

Ascension’s first grade had a very special visitor this fall. Jane O’Connor, author of the popular Fancy Nancy series! Thanks for the author visit, Mrs. Flowers!
the last 3 years Mrs. Flowers and Mrs. Allen have worked together to produce Ascension's Literary magazine, "Ascension Reads."

We LOVE to read new stories!

What's New in Our Library
The library has a new look this year with the addition of four brand new book cases which were purchased with the profits from our Spring Bookfair. Mrs. Margo Graham, our library volunteer extraordinaire, and Mrs. Flowers spent the closing weeks of school rearranging the collection and filling the new bookcases. A new reading rug and individual carpet squares also await students. |
