Welcome
to Ascension School's Extended Day Program! Our multi-aged program
is in a nurturing enhanced environment within our school building. Approximately sixty Ascension students finish their school day at 3:00 and then move down the hall to join their Extended Day Program friends for a snack, group sharing time, homework and some fun. |

|
| |
Our
large room is set up with various centers to encourage respectful
play and engage the children in age appropriate and stimulating
activities. Our staff is well educated and professional, with a
genuine respect for the children. |

|
| |
The
Extended Day Program program offers many opportunities for our students.
We run 2 separate homework programs (one for 2nd & 3rd grade,
the other for 4th-8th grade), a Writer's Club, a Nature Club, and
a Chess Club. The children are welcomed to join each and any club
that meets their interests. |

|
|

Arts
and Crafts projects are ongoing, as are an endless number of games,
puzzles, manipulatives, dramatic play items, books, and special
seasonal projects. The fun is evident daily in the faces of the
children and staff. |
