Student Council, he suggested a basketball tournament for grades
4 through 8 to be held during Christmas vacation. |

of mixed age competitors, refs are alumni and school dads, concessions
are sold by the Student Council and everyone has a great time! |

Council

Student Council,
one of Ascension's extracurricular activities, is moderated by Mr.
Sengstock.

Student
Council room representatives and alternates keep Ascension students
informed of activities and events designed to promote community
and service.

Fun
Fairs, Ice Cream Socials, Out of Uniform Days for charities, dances
and other activities are sponsored by Student Council.
Student Council also helps with the Thanksgiving Food Drive.

During the year, Student Council organizes Food Drives and other Service Projects.
Supporting Our Troops
Student
Council sponsored a service project in 2003 - 2004: A.S.A.P. means
Ascension Students Adopt a Platoon. Students collected for an Ascension
Alum and his entire platoon on duty with the United States Army
in Iraq. Collections took place in December, 2003.

Ascension School

2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment,
United States Army.
