Spanish

All Ascension Students learn the Spanish Language. Younger students (grades 1-2-3-4) have instruction once a week, 5th graders twice a week, and junior high students three times a week.

Our goal is to have students placed into second year Spanish when they enter high school. Each year so far has had a higher percentage, with most 8th grade students testing into second year Spanish at present.

Hola. This is my fourth year teaching at Ascension School. I am a native of Andalucia, Spain. I have a Master of History from the Universidad de Granada (Spain). I enjoy sharing my language and culture with my students at Ascension School.
