Spanish All Ascension Students learn the Spanish Language. Primary students (grades 1-2-3) have instruction once a week, middle grades (4-5) twice a week, and junior high students three times a week. Our goal is to have students placed into second year Spanish when they enter high school. Each year so far has had a higher percentage, with about 75% of 8th grade students testing into second year Spanish at present.
