Run-a-Thon!

Charlie Creed, Ascension class of '98, participated in this year's Run-a-Thon on Friday while serving with the 4th Sustainment Brigade in Iraq. He sent in this message:

"(I ran) 2.2 miles in 15 minutes via treadmill. I think I could have done better either off the treadmill or if I'd figured out the intervals better. Hopefully some of the older students can do better!"

-- Charlie was a member of the "Two Mile Club" in 8th grade.

		8th graders wear colorful shirts for their last Run as students. These runners are ready!
		Overcast skies and rainy weather made the gym a little "dim" but the excitement brightened everyone's faces!

		Volunteers and 8th graders help count the laps.
		All tired out with a welcome bottle of water!
We ran 11,515 laps! That's over 575 miles!
