Fr. McNally

Father McNally regularly visits classrooms to instruct and to answer student questions. Students love having their pastor teach the class!

The students in Grade 7 attend the presentation and blessing of the Bible at a special service. Fr. Larry talks about using the Bible as a source of daily prayer as the priests and deacons do. The scriptures preserve for us memory of the people of God and supports us in learning about our faith. The Bibles are blessed and the students reminded to care for them as they use them to prepare for prayer, class, the Sacrament of Confirmation and on into high school.

Genesis and Creation

6th graders are learning the two creation stories in Religion. Both classes have made colorful cards featuring the beauty of God's creation, some with quotes from Genesis.

Saint Project

During October, 6th graders work on a report on a significant saint of the church. They discover the qualities of that saint that can inspire us today. Later, students find pictures or icons of the saints. In computer class, each student adds his or her own face. The pictures go on display for parent-teacher conferences.
