Ascension’s 54th Mission Day!  Cakes, cakes, cakes…better every year! Each year we start with a prayer service. The gym had more than 20 games,
a Cake Walk, a White Elephant Booth, and a Pastry Shop. There is pizza for lunch, popcorn and movies. Always welcome alumni came back to help with booths and favorite games. And, oh, those cakes!

In 2011 our Mission Day began with a Prayer service, as is our custom. Mrs. Hetzel spoke about her daughter's work in Guatemala. We will help support the children there through Mission Day. We heard a wonderful song, "With My Two Hands."

Mrs. Hetzel brought wonderful clothing and articles made in Guatemala.

Movies in the classroom included "Up" and "The Quiet Man" as well as "Toy Story 3."
