Math, Reading Internet4Classroom   This site has information and interactive lessons on math and reading for grades K through 8th grade. At the first and second grade level, there are an elaborate amount of lessons and practice pages on phonics (sounds of letters) knowledge, sight words, vocabulary, sentence structure, comprehension and word endings.   To access materials for grades 2 - 8, scroll down to the bottom of the internet4classroom site to access the different level material. Primary Phonics Tampa Reads   This site focuses on phonics – letter/sound recognition. This is primarily for grades K, 1, and 2. Education Brain Connection   Besides clinical topics (ADD/ADHD and Autism), this site has many ideas on Educational Topics (Reading Fundamentals, Learning Solutions) and General Topics (motivation, problem solving, child development) Reading Comprehension Reading Quest   Different teaching strategies used for building comprehension of reading, both inside and outside of the classroom. Music New York Philharmonic Kids   Meet musicians from the NY philharmonic, learn about different aspects of music from a new perspective. Includes games. Art National Gallery of Art   Explore the arts in the National Gallery of Art. Videos Cosmeo   This site gives the student the ability to view short video clips to make the learning connections more relevant. Includes concepts in Science, Math, Social Studies, English, Health, Art & Music using video samples for grades K – 8. This site offers information from the different curriculum areas matched with the different grade levels. Subscription. Reading Reading A-Z   The site offers short books – 5 to 10 pages (of various ability levels) to print out.
