Learning Resource

The Learning Resource Program of Ascension School is a small program with the pull-out model. It is for the students of Ascension School in grades 1 - 8 who are below grade level in Basic Skills areas. This is determined by an individually administered standardized Achievement Test and observations and recommendations from professionals.

The purpose of the learning resource group is to provide help in learning strategies in a small group setting. At times accommodations and modifications can be recommended for qualifying students. Parental permission must be obtained when the staff sees the need to place students in the program.
