Grades four and five applied their math skills in the Pine Room kitchen on Thursday, December 3, 2009 during the fifth annual Cookie Bake.  The children had to compute the ingredients necessary to make large batches of cookies and then measure and mix them.  Thanks to the multi-generational volunteer force that helped with this project!  All cookies are donated to the Ascension Women's Club cookie walk. 

Everyone’s favorite math lesson!  Ascension fourth and fifth graders spent their math class baking cookies today.  They focus on measuring, multiplying and mixing – and the AWC Cookie Walk on Saturday will have dozens of delicious cookies as a result.
