Ascension Cherub Choir, Choristers and Contemporary Choir

     

Cherub Choir

Cherub Rehearsal & Mass Schedule

Mr. Anderson will publish information about these choirs in the Dome (bulletin) in late August.

All children in grades 2 and 3 are invited to join this choir. Cherub Choir rehearses on Wednesday afternoons from 3:00 - 3:30 in church. There are usually two practices a month. Beginning in October, the Cherubs generally sing on the third Sunday of the month at the 9:00 Mass.

Choristers

Chorister Rehearsal & Mass Schedule

 

 

 All young people in grades 4 - 8 are invited to join this choir. The Choristers normally sing on the first Sunday of the month (October - May) at the 11:00 Mass. In order to accommodate various schedules, children are asked to pick a rehearsal time that is convenient for them.  
There are two rehearsal times on Wednesdays: 11:50 - 12:40 (for those students who attend Ascension School) and on Wednesday afternoons from 3:50 - 4:45. Practices are in church.  

Contemporary Choir

The Ascension Contemporary Choir is comprised of young adults 8th grade through high school. Several adults of the parish also sing with the choir. We provide music at the monthly 1st Sunday 5 PM Mass. We generally rehearse the Sunday before the first Sunday a from 3:00-4:30 PM. We meet at 3:30 PM on the first Sunday and stay to sing for the Mass. Singers and Instrumentalists are welcome to join this group.
