Ascension Choristers
The Choristers are comprised of young people in our parish in grades 3-8.
The Ascension Choristers provides an opportunity for children to receive
an introduction to choral singing in church.

Please note that there is no Cherub Choir this year.

The Choristers normally sing on the first Sunday of each month (October – May)
at the 9 AM. Mass.  Beginning this choir year, we will also sing on the third Sunday of each month at the regularly scheduled 9 AM Children’s Focus Mass (October through March).

The regular practice time is on Wednesdays from 3:15-4:00 p.m. 

We will generally practice 3 times each month. All practices take place in church. A light snack is available at 3:05 p.m. before the start of each rehearsal. We will also have pizza 5-6 times throughout the year!  Pizza days will be announced via email.

Our first rehearsal time for the year is on September 14th.

Religious education students are welcome to join the rehearsal time as their Wednesday school dismissal schedule allows. (Even if this means coming at a later time each week, you are most welcome!)
Our first Chorister Mass is on Sunday Oct. 2 at the 11AM Mass.

Religious education students may arrive for practice as their Wednesday schedules allow and stay until 4:00 PM. Please check with Mr. Anderson concerning your child’s school schedule.
