Lots of great new fun at Ascension's main social and fundraising event of the year.Our "Blue Tie" auction will be a little more sophisticated this year, but will still be quite a bit of fun

The live auction will take place during dinner, and will include items that you simply can't get anywhere else!

We'll still have the perennial auction favorites: Heads or Tails. Here's how it works. Buy a Heads or Tails card for $10. When the auctioneer asks you to "declare" you turn your card to face him, showing either the photo of the horse's head or tail. He flips a coin. Losers sit, winners "declare" again until we have a handful left who then join him on stage. Be sure to pick up your playing piece early in the evening; maybe this is the year you'll end up on stage placing your bet.

Also during the Live: the "Paddle Raise". This is an opportunity to really show, through your giving, what Ascension means to you! (Formerly 'Fund a Need.')

10:00 pm until midnight: The Pine Room Post-Auction Party.
Enjoy more food, more drinks, our awesome house band and a chance to gloat over those winning bids.

About the Auction

The auction was begun by a group of volunteers led by Laura Allen and Mickie Kerr to help raise money for the school. Last year, the auction netted over $86,000 for Ascension's operating budget.

One special feature of the auction is the Eighth Grade art project.  Our talented Ascension School students, working with Mrs. Pesce, produce amazing samples of their work and donate them for the benefit of their school.
