First Communion

One hundred and six Ascension children received their First Communion this year. For more pictures, visit our Photo Album 2007 - 2008.

Cinco de Mayo

Students in first grade learn the dance to "La Raspa" in Music class. They learn about Cinco de Mayo from Señor Cides, and then dance for other classes throughout the building.

Grandparents' Day

Grandparents day

Ascension welcomed very special guests for Grandparents' Day on May 2, 2008! After a beautiful liturgy, guests visited classrooms and then paused for a bit of social time in the Pine Room.

Aerophones

Panpipes

Aerophones are instruments that use air to make the sound. Many third graders used pens and other hollow tubes to make real homemade flutes and pan pipes.

Greek Day

Godesses

Mrs. Lippi's 6th graders presented several skits based on Greek mythology on her annual Greek Day.
