The Class of 1969 held their 40th reunion on June 27! Alumni got reaquainted in the Pine Room, attended mass together, toured the school and went out to dinner. Just like old times!

Ascension Art Club

Art Club students earned a second place nationally for the painting they entered in the Catholic Campaign for Human Development annual contest. This year's theme was "Empowering People to Combat Global Poverty." The CCHD contest awards $375 to the school and matches it with a gift to an approved charity that Ascension chooses. Congratulations to Mrs. Pesce and 2009 graduates Marian Woznica, Ruth Whittaker, Mary Kate Skalitzky, Megan Wirtz and Colleen Gartland.

Summer Office Hours

During the month of July, the school office will be open on Wednesday mornings from 8:30AM until noon. The staff will check for phone messages regularly and return calls. The School office will reopen on August 4, 2009.

August 1: Paint the Pavement Day! Please join us on Saturday, August 1 from 9am-1pm to make the pavement the children play on during recess a fun as well as educational space...as cost effectively as possible! Our preliminary plans are to paint the Ascension Chargers logo, a map of the US, 4 square and hopscotch.
